Gun Cleaning: Twisted Wire Brush Automation Breaks Production Records

On October 22nd, 2013, Sanderson MacLeod christened the first of an extensive line of innovative, fully automatic gun brush machines.

Designed using more than 50 years of twisted wire brush and gun cleaning brush making experience, the recently introduced machine twists, trims and assembles gun brushes differently and faster than any other machine currently available. In addition to rapid production capabilities, the versatile system is able to run brushes as short as 5/8” and as long as 3”. Sanderson’s new production line also produces trim diameters ranging from 0.190” to 1.125”.

Sanderson MacLeod’s newly introduced automation produces brushes containing nylon, phosphor bronze, stainless steel and cotton and can run all popular core wires ranging in diameter from  .050” to 14GA (0.080”).

Sanderson MacLeod Wins Super 60 Award for Growth

Palmer, MA, USA — Sanderson MacLeod, the large volume twisted wire brush manufacturer, has won the Super 60 Award for Growth from the Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield in Massachusetts.

The award is presented annually to the top businesses in the area which continue to make significant contributions to the strength of the regional economy.  Sanderson MacLeod has played a significant role in the overall economic climate of the region and will be recognized at the Super 60 Luncheon and Recognition Program on October 26.
