Manufacturing Technology Series

Great day spent at the Manufacturing Technology Series EASTEC expo with SanMac’s OSI: (Operations System Integration) team.

As we moved through the booths, the theme was unmistakable—our culture at Sanderson MacLeod isn’t compatible with merely tweaking the status quo…

Our conversations around innovation, automation, and integration possibilities revealed a mindset driven to create technologies that don’t just improve current processes—they disrupt entire industries, breaking through what others see as limits and rewriting what’s possible.

Plus, we got to play with lasers, which we thought was pretty cool.

A Legacy Engineered. A Future in Motion.

Today marks a milestone at Sanderson MacLeod—the first day in over 41 years without Chris Breyare designing, refining, and pushing the boundaries of what’s technically possible. It’s also the first day of his well-earned retirement.

Chris wasn’t just part of the team—he was a driving force behind the innovation that shaped our processes, optimized our tools, and elevated our standards. Here, Chris bookends his career by standing next to the Company’s very first automated twisting machine, which he helped install.

Through decades of hands-on problem-solving and improvement, he helped lay the foundation on which we continue to build today. Because of his impact, this isn’t just a farewell—it’s the beginning of a new era. One powered by his legacy, and carried forward by those he’s inspired to think smarter, move faster, and reach further.

It’s been an honor to work alongside Chris. Now, we take what he taught us—and keep forging ahead.

Young Mind. Big Moves.

Meet Harrison.

Since his days as a Vocational CO-OP student, he’s climbed the ranks fast at Sanderson MacLeod, earning his place alongside the world’s top brush-making experts. When a challenge hits, he and his teammates are the first ones in—and the last to give up.His favorite words to hear? “That can’t be done.” He lives to prove otherwise.SanMac’s only dilemma? We’re looking for more Harrisons—hands-on, sharp-minded, and ready to own the impossible. Help us push boundaries. Solve big problems. Grow fast.
