Palmer, Massachusetts – June 26, 2008 – Sanderson MacLeod recently announced the integration of their new high speed Burrite brush production cell. The ability to produce tightly wound Burrite brushes quickly and at various lengths and diameters is expected to revolutionize the way these brushes are made, explained Sanderson MacLeod Vice President Mark N. “Historically, Burrite type brushes were difficult to produce without some degree of loose fiber,” Borsari said. “Our engineers did a terrific job innovating new, fully automated manufacturing equipment to alleviate this problem.”

Sanderson MacLeod expects to be filling orders shortly for the widely popular brush. Demand has been high for brushes with overall lengths as long as 2 ¼”. Brush part lengths are possible from ¼” to nearly 1 ½”.

The event, held at the Jacob Javits Center June 3-5, 2008, provided medical brush retailers with the ability to share new medical brush concepts, develop medical brush prototypes and investigate new medical brush market offerings.
