Sanderson MacLeod to Attend Medical Design & Manufacturing Minneapolis Convention

The 50-year-old company will participate in conference and exhibit events showcasing next generation medical device manufacturing.

Sanderson MacLeod, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of twisted-wire brushes, will be attending the Medical Design & Manufacturing Minneapolis 2009 Conference. The MD&M West Conference and Exposition takes place October 21 – 22, 2009 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Mark Borsari, Sanderson MacLeod’s Vice President, describes the importance of attending this event. “The MD&M Minneapolis Expo and Conference is a vital component in the facilitation of cutting edge medical product development.” He continues, “Prior to the introduction of any new medical device, product, or technology to hospitals or doctors, all of the components that bring the technology from an idea to an actual product are first showcased at the MD&M convention. Attendees literally witness and are a part of the future of the medical industry. We’re excited to be involved.”

“This year marks a milestone for Sanderson MacLeod and we will be making some significant announcements leading up to the conference.” Borsari added. “We still see increasing demand for domestically produced medical endoscopy brushes, medical cleaning brushes and cytology brushes. And, at the same time, our green-initiatives and product innovations are moving forward rapidly. We’ve got new technologies to showcase and production methods that will revolutionize the twisted-wire brush industry.”

Sanderson MacLeod is a contract manufacturer specializing in twisted wire brushes. The company employs approximately 100 people and operates a modern 137,000 square foot facility in Palmer, Massachusetts.
