Company dedicates honor to their talented and devoted employees.
Sanderson MacLeod announced recently that the company received the prestigious 2013 Business of the Year Award from the Quaboag Hills Chamber of Commerce. Presented on April 27, 2013 at the Eagle Hill School in Hardwick, MA, Senator Stephen Brewer, State Representative Todd Smola and Chamber President Lenny Weake were in attendance.
Each year, the award recognizes a business in the Quaboag region that demonstrates a commitment to community involvement, business innovation and dedication to maintaining ongoing operations within the valley.
“Receiving Business of the Year just reinforces Sanderson MacLeod’s commitment to the local community,” said Mark N. Borsari, President. “Even though we face one of the most challenging political, social and economic periods in our nation’s history, we remain dedicated to our domestic manufacturing model. We know that through extraordinary teamwork, break through innovations, structured process development and hard work we can compete with any other country in the world.”
During the presentation, Borsari dedicated the award to Sanderson MacLeod’s employees. “Those individuals working overtime right now, those who make it into work during snowstorms to make sure we deliver on time, those who help us get better every day,” he said, “are really the people who make an honor such as this possible.”
Sanderson MacLeod participated in nearly 40 community charities in 2012 and was also the recipient of the 2012 Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce’s “Employer of Choice” Award and Business West Magazine’s 2012 “Super Sixty” Award for growth in Western Massachusetts.
