Palmer, MA, USA — Twisted Wire Brushmaking company Sanderson MacLeod recently provided $10,000 in supplemental funding to Pathfinder Regional High School’s 2022-2023 robotics program, sponsoring the school’s FRC Robotics Team while also fully funding the VEX Robotics Team.
The financial support will ensure students interested in technical automation are provided the components and support needed to pursue their increasingly popular interest in modern manufacturing.
For the past several seasons, Sanderson MacLeod has been the platinum sponsor of Pathfinder’s Robotics Club, helping to facilitate the program’s growth and development. When asked about the importance of sponsoring the Pathfinder Robotics Club, Sanderson MacLeod CEO Mark Borsari explained, “There are so many avenues for bright kids to explore their creativity when it comes to technology and innovation. Being able to help local students have fun in a way that also teaches them real world applications in areas like coding, fabricating and automation is a win-win.”
Last year’s robotics team had quite the season…Recognized in the spring of ’22 with the “Highest Rookie Seed Award” the “Rookie Inspiration Award” and the “Rookie All Star Award,” the folks at Pathfinder certainly walked away from their events well decorated. Not only that, their performance for the remainder of that season earned them a spot to compete at the 2022 FIRST World’s Robotics competition in Houston, Texas, where the team proudly represented Pathfinder Voc.
