Sanderson MacLeod Beats the Heat with Ice Cream Sundaes

Sanderson MacLeod Beats the Heat with Ice Cream Sundaes!

Twisted-Wire Brush Leader Surprises Employees with Ice Cream on the Eve of the Summer’s Hottest Heatwave Yet:

  • The news of heatwaves has been stretching across the country for days
  • Looking to make the best out of the weather, SanMac thought out of the box to keep their employees cool
  • Sanderson employees were greeted with a variety of Ice Cream Sundae options when they came into Twisters Cafe

The news of heatwaves has been stretching across the country for days. It seems that the heat has finally made it to Palmer, Massachusetts. Of course when this news broke, Sanderson had a solution in mind—Ice Cream.

During their breaks, SanMac employees were greeted with a variety of Ice Cream Sundae options. Based on how well received the ice cream was, it wouldn’t be surprising if the company starts hoping for more heatwaves before the summer comes to an end.

Until then, at least SanMac staff has the remainder Summer Burger Wars to look forward to!

Sanderson MacLeod Hosts Red Cross Blood Drive

Sanderson MacLeod Hosts Red Cross Blood Drive

Twisted-Wire Brush Leader Hosts Red Cross Blood Drive and Exceeds Goals:

  • Sanderson MacLeod hosted a Red Cross Blood Drive on June 27th, 2019
  • The event had an initial goal of 15 units, with 18 actually being donated
  • The Sanderson MacLeod staff donated enough blood during their blood drive to save 54 lives

For their first ever Red Cross blood drive, Sanderson MacLeod set some lofty goals. Little did they know their fantastic staff would not only match those goals, but raise the bar as well!

The initial mark was set at 15 units of blood, or approximately 45 lives saved. The Sanderson team went above and beyond, reaching a total of 18 units (or pints) of donated blood. This turned out to represent 120% of the initial goal, or 54 lives saved.

The Red Cross aids over 100 million people each year through its extensive network, which includes 13 million volunteers throughout 187 countries. Although those numbers may seem staggering, they are made possible through grassroots efforts made by small communities such as Palmer, Massachusetts and companies such as Sanderson MacLeod.

As a show of appreciation for those who donated, Sanderson also rewarded each donor with a Dunkin Donuts gift card as a token of thanks.

Bruce Rosenbaum of Modvic has never been known to pursue ordinary projects. In August 2018, his latest innovative venture was installed at its final location: The Brush Innovation Center (BIC) of Sanderson MacLeod Inc. Envisioned to be a fusion of Sanderson’s industrial past, innovative present, and groundbreaking future, Rosenbaum created a one-of-a-kind conference table to serve as the centerpiece for the company’s newly renovated BIC. M-Pact TV recently produced a video documenting the story of how this unique collaboration came to be. In it, they explain the origins of the table’s concept, how the table was made, and the final touches which led to the completion of the HeliXwing conference table.

The table is nearly 100% fashioned from long-retired brush making tools, automation equipment, and industrial revolution era antiques found in the company’s warehouse and local flea markets. Its construction would ultimately involve an unusual collaborative team comprised of local students, teachers, artists, tradespeople, and Sanderson MacLeod toolmakers.
